UPDATE WITH CONDOLONCES FROM TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTER

MOSCOW (AA) - Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei died “suddenly” at the age of 64, the country’s state-run Belta news agency reported on Saturday.
According to Belta, the sad news was announced by Anatoly Glaz, the Foreign Ministry spokesman.
The Turkish foreign minister extended his condolences to Makei’s family and the people of Belarus.
“Deeply saddened by the news of Makei's passing away. He was a good man and a good friend,” Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Twitter. “May his soul rest in peace.”
Makei had been serving as the country’s foreign minister since 2012.
