ISTANBUL (AA) - Leonardo Bonucci arrived Wednesday on a private jet in Istanbul to discuss his transfer to Turkish club, Fenerbahce.
Bonucci, 36, was welcomed by club officials at the Sabiha Gokcen Airport General Aviation Terminal.
He will ink a Fenerbahce contract if transfer negotiations are completed after medical checks.
The Italian defender has spent most of his time at Juventus where he played 502 matches and scored 37 goals for the Turin club.
Bonucci also has played for AC Milan and Inter Milan.
He took part in winning nine Italian Serie A titles, including eight with Juventus in 2012 - 2017 and another in 2019 - 2020.
Bonucci was the Italian champion with Inter in 2006.
He played for Milan during the 2017 - 18 season before returning to Juventus.
Bonucci last played for Germany's Union Berlin.
He amassed 121 international caps for Italy, where he won the EURO 2020 title in 2021.
