UPDATEs WITH MORE DAILY FIGURES

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index closed Wednesday at 1,533.55 points, up 1.46%.
Starting the day at 1,520.80 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 22.13 points over Tuesday's close of 1,511.43 points.
During the day, the index hovered between 1,509.18 and 1,532.78 points -- 74 stocks on the index rose and 24 fell compared to the previous close.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 1.1 trillion Turkish liras ($161 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 30.1 billion Turkish liras (nearly $4.20 billion).
The highest trading volumes were posted by private lenders Garanti, real estate investment company Emlak GYO, and gold miner Koza.
Conglomerate Bera Holding was the best performer, with its shares up 9.22%, while stocks of cardboard producer Kartonsan dropped the most, 3.75%.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $58.65 per barrel as of 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT).
