UPDATE WITH MORE FIGURES

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index went up 1.32% to 1,165.70 points at close on Friday.
After starting the last transaction day of the week at 1,152.74 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 15.21 points from Thursday's close of 1,150.49 points.
During the day, the index hovered between 1,150.97 and 1,158.58 points.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 846 billion Turkish liras ($107 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of some 19.5 billion Turkish liras ($2.48 billion).
The highest trading volumes were posted by glass producer Sisecam and energy giant Petkim and private lender Garanti.
Paper-carton producer Kartonsan was the best performer, with its shares up 8.20%, while stocks of Selcuk Ecza Deposu, a pharmaceutical warehouse, dropped the most, losing 4.09%.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,911.50 by market close, up from $1,848.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $43.22 per barrel as of 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT) on Friday.
