ISTANBUL/BRUSSELS (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan took part in an informal meeting of European Union foreign ministers held in Brussels on Thursday.
The meeting, held at the European Council headquarters, lasted about two hours, according to Turkish diplomatic sources.
Türkiye-EU relations and regional issues were discussed.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Fidan met separately with Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares and Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on X.
He also met with Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel.
Fidan is paying a one-day visit to Brussels to attend the EU meeting.
No further information was provided by the ministry on the meetings.
