ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish foreign minister on Thursday met a senior Vatican official and his Tajik counterpart on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council in the Polish city of Lodz.
In a Twitter post, Türkiye’s Mevlut Cavusoglu said he discussed regional and global developments, including matters related to Ukraine, with Holy See Secretary for Relations With States Richard Gallagher.
"Continued our bilateral meetings on the margins of the 29th OSCE Ministerial Council with Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin of Tajikistan," said Cavusoglu on Twitter, without giving further details from the meeting.
Cavusoglu is in the Polish city for the annual meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council on Thursday and Friday.
The session provides foreign ministers of the 57 participating states an opportunity to review and assess the organization's activities and strengthen the dialogue on security issues.
Civil society representatives from across the OSCE area presented on Wednesday their recommendations that focused on stopping the Moscow-Kyiv war that started in February, as well as overhauling the international security architecture.
