UPDATE WITH MORE DAILY FIGURES

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index ended Thursday up 0.32% to close at 1,110.66 points.
After starting at 1,104.42 points on Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 3.55 points from 1,107.11 points at Wednesday's close.
During the day, it hovered between 1,100.27 and 1,110.66 points -- 53 stocks on the index rose, 40 fell and seven were flat compared to Wednesday.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 821.9 billion Turkish liras ($110.1 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of some 12 billion Turkish liras ($1.6 billion).
The highest trading volumes were posted by iron/steel producer Kardemir, petrochemical firm Petkim and glass manufacturer Sise Cam on Thursday.
Stocks of energy company Aksa Enerji was the best performer, with its shares up 5.01%, while Selcuk Ecza Deposu, a pharmaceutical warehouse, dropped the most, losing 2.59%.
One ounce of gold sold for $1,946.90 by market close, slipping from $1,964.00, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent oil was $43.13 per barrel as of 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT) on Thursday, with a day range of $41.50 to $43.19.
