GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – The Israeli army's airstrikes on Friday across the war-torn Gaza Strip, including displaced people's tents, killed 32 Palestinians and injured dozens more.
Mahmoud Basal, the spokesman for the Palestinian Civil Defense said in a statement that two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a home in the northern Gaza Strip.
He said in a series of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip, killed 14 Palestinians, the majority of whom were killed in Israeli strikes on homes.
In the central Gaza Strip, 11 Palestinians were killed in two Israeli airstrikes that targeted a home in the Nuseirat refugee camp and displaced people's tents west of the camp.
The spokesman added that five more Palestinians were killed in another Israeli airstrike on the Qandeel family's home in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israel’s ongoing war on the Gaza Strip has killed nearly 40,900 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured over 94,200 others, according to local health authorities.
An ongoing blockade of the enclave has led to severe shortages of food, clean water and medicine, leaving much of the region in ruins.
Israel faces accusations of genocide for its actions in Gaza at the International Court of Justice.
