ISTANBUL (AA) - US factory orders rose 0.2% to $586.7 billion in October, after two consecutive monthly declines, the US Census Bureau said Wednesday.
The figure was below expectations of 0.3%, the bureau noted.
Factory orders posted a decline of 0.2% in September, month-over-month.
Shipments, down three consecutive months, fell $1.2 billion, or 0.2%, to $585.4 billion, after a 0.4% September decrease.
Unfilled orders were up $6.1 billion, or 0.4%, to $1.4 trillion during the month.
