ISTANBUL (AA) - Producer inflation in the US remained unchanged on a monthly basis in September, according to data released Friday.
The producer price index (PPI), which measures changes in the prices of goods and services from a producer's perspective, was estimated to show a monthly gain of 0.1% in September.
The figure showed a 0.2% month-on-month increase in August.
On an annual basis, PPI rose 1.8% in September, coming in higher than the market expectation of a 1.6% increase.
The August annual figure, meanwhile, was revised up from a gain of 1.7% to an increase of 1.9%.
