NEW YORK (AA) - The stock market opened at a record-high level on Friday to begin the last trading day of the week with gains.
The Dow Jones added 48 points to start the day at 19,131 and the S&P 500 rose three points to 2,208. The Nasdaq increased four points to 5,385.
From Monday through Wednesday, both the Dow and the S&P closed at their all-time record high levels for three consecutive days.
Both indexes climbed to their fresh all-time record levels on Friday.
Wall Street was closed on Thursday due to Thanksgiving Day, and will open on Friday until 1 p.m. local time (1800 GMT).
