NEW YORK (AA) - The U.S. stock markets opened with gains Friday to begin the last trading day of the week on a higher note.

Investors will continue to closely watch whether the House of Representatives will hold a vote Friday on the American Health Care Act to replace the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare.
The House failed to hold the vote on Thursday, which was viewed by investors as a loss of confidence in President Donald Trump and his administration.
