NEW YORK (AA) - The U.S. stock market opened higher on Tuesday with rising crude oil prices.
The Dow added two points to open at 20,553 and the S&P rose more than one point to 2,342 points.
The Nasdaq increased five points to begin trading at 5,846 points.
At the first bell, American benchmark West Texas Intermediate was trading at $48.19 per barrel with a 1 percent gain, and international benchmark Brent crude was at $51.34 with a 0.8 percent increase.
