NEW YORK (AA) - U.S. stock markets opened higher Monday with a small increase in crude oil prices.
The Dow added 22 points to begin the day at 20,685 and the S&P 500 was up one point to 2,364.
The Nasdaq rose nine points to start the first trading day of the week at 5,921.
At the first bell, American benchmark West Texas Intermediate was trading at $50.64 per barrel, up 0.04 percent, and international benchmark Brent crude was at $53.56, up 0.05 percent.
