NEW YORK (AA) - The stock market opened with gains Thursday with positive macroeconomic data.
The Dow rose 20 points to 21,028 points, and the S&P added 4 points to 2,416 points.
The Nasdaq increased 20 points to begin the first trading day of June at 6,218 points.
American private sector added 253,000 jobs in May, beating the market expectation of 180,000, according to the ADP National Employment Report released earlier.
