NEW YORK (AA) - The stock market opened lower Monday with a decline in oil prices.
The Dow fell 10 points to begin the day at 20,903 and the S&P 500 was down three points to reach 2,374 points.
The Nasdaq lost four points to start trading at 5,896 points.
At the first bell, American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was trading at $48.85 a barrel with a 1 percent decline. International benchmark Brent crude was at $51.44 per barrel -- a 0.7 percent decline.
