ISTANBUL (AA) - The US trade deficit for goods increased 1.5% to $91.8 billion in February, according to data released Friday.
The trade deficit, the difference between imported and exported goods, rose $1.3 billion from $90.5 billion in January, the Commerce Department’s Census Bureau said in a report.
The expectation for the figure was to come in at $90.1 billion.
Exports in February totaled $175.1 billion, which were $4.8 billion more than in January.
Last month, imports were $266.9 billion – $6.1 billion more than the previous month.
