ISTANBUL (AA) - The US Treasury Department announced Wednesday it will be offering $121 billion in securities next week to refund $105.1 billion of privately held Treasury notes.

"This issuance will raise new cash from private investors of approximately $15.9 billion," it said.

The securities include a 3-year note for $54 billion maturing Feb. 15, 2027; a 10-year note for $42 billion maturing Feb. 15, 2034 and a 30-year bond for $25 billion maturing Feb. 15, 2054.

The 3-year note will be auctioned Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the 10-year note Wednesday and the 30-year bond Thursday, all at the same time.

"Treasury plans to increase both the new issue and the reopening auction size of the 10-year note by $2 billion, the 30-year bond by $1 billion," it said.
