SANAA, Yemen (AA) - The Yemeni Houthi group announced Wednesday that American and British forces carried out airstrikes on the province of Saada in the northwest.
The Houthi-affiliated channel, Al-Masirah, reported in breaking news that “American-British aggression targets the north of Saada city.”
The Ansarollah website which is affiliated with the group, quoted an unnamed security source who said: “American and British aircraft launched several airstrikes on the north of Saada city.”
“This aggression will not pass without a response and punishment, and the aggressor countries must bear the consequences of their aggression,” said the source.
As of 1745GMT, the UK and US have not commented on the report.
