ISTANBUL (AA) - Wholesale inventories in the US increased 0.1% in August, compared to the previous month, according to Commerce Department figures released Wednesday.
The figure, which measures the change in the total value of goods held in inventory by wholesalers, was estimated at $904.8 billion.
The figure for July was revised down from $904.9 billion to $903.7 billion, or from an increase of 0.3% to a gain of 0.1%.
Annually, wholesale inventories in August were up 0.6%, compared to the same month in 2023.
