ISTANBUL (AA) - Wholesale trade sales in the US increased 0.7% in December, compared to the previous month, according to Commerce Department figures released Thursday.
Wholesale trade sales, also known as the total sales of merchant wholesalers except manufacturers’ sales branches and offices, stood at $670.9 billion.
The figure in November was slightly revised down from no change to a decline of 0.1%.
Annually, however, wholesale trade sales in December were up 1.6%, compared to the same month in 2022.
