Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen on Sunday marked his record 17th Grand Prix win of the Formula One World Championship 2023 season in Sao Paulo.
The 2023 Formula One champion marked a historic victory in Brazilian Grand Prix with a time of 1 hour 26 minutes 07.136 seconds at Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace.
McLaren's Lando Norris placed second with a difference of 8.277 seconds, while Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso finished 34.155 seconds behind the Dutch driver to place third.
In the race, Mercedes' George Russell was forced to pit owing to an oil temperature issue, while Alfa Romeo drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu both had to leave the race due to technical problems.
Haas F1's Kevin Magnussen, Wiiliams Racing driver Alexander Albon and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc were also unable to finish the race.
Verstappen now tops the Driver Standings with 524 points, while his teammate Sergio Perez is in the number two spot with 258 points and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton placed third with 226.
Red Bull Racing dominated the Constructor Standings with an amazing 782 points, while Mercedes placed a distant second with 382 points and Ferrari took the number three spot with 362.
Round 22 of the 2023 Formula 1 Championship is set to be held in Las Vegas on Nov. 19.
