ISTANBUL (AA) – An international news broadcaster released a video on Friday showing the Israeli army intentionally targeting Palestinians rushing to collect humanitarian airdrop aid in the Gaza Strip.
The new footage obtained by Al Jazeera begins with a warplane dropping aid near the northern border fence of Gaza.
In the video, a group of young Palestinians can be seen running to reach a spot to collect humanitarian aid.
Despite no apparent threat, young Palestinians are seen approaching to collect aid, but the Israeli army suddenly fires intermittently at them.
The video shows Israeli soldiers intentionally firing multiple times at one of these young people. After being hit by gunfire, the Palestinian youth stumbles and falls, then gets up and stumbles again.
While the young Palestinian attempts to move slowly away in the opposite direction of the Israeli soldiers and vehicles, gunfire continues to hit him, causing him to collapse again.
The video shows the Palestinian, who has been directly hit by gunfire, trying to lift his head while crawling on the dirt road in the hopes of receiving help, but he tragically dies as a result of attacks by approaching dogs.
This three-minute footage documents what the UN has labeled as a "man-made tragedy" in Gaza.
Leading media organizations, including Al Jazeera, recently exposed Israeli soldiers executing unarmed Palestinian civilians in Gaza in another video.
Since October 7, Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip have resulted in the deaths of at least 33,037 Palestinians, including 14,500 children and 9,560 women, with 75,668 others injured.
Reports indicate thousands of bodies remain under rubble, while hospitals and educational institutions where civilians seek refuge are being targeted, destroying civilian infrastructure.
