NEW YORK (AA) - Wall Street closed higher Monday as technology companies and banks saw gains.
The Dow added 183 points to finish the day at 20,636 and the S&P rose 20 points to 2,349.
The Nasdaq increased 51 points to end the first trading day of the week at 5,856.
All three indexes posted their highest daily gains since March 1.
Bank of America and Wells Fargo jumped 2.1 percent and 2.7 percent, respectively, while Amazon saw its stock price rise 2 percent.
