NEW YORK (AA) - Wall Street closed lower Monday as crude prices continue to decline.
The Dow Jones fell 132 points to end the day at 17,732. The S&P 500 was down 17 points to close at 2,079, while the Nasdaq lost 46 points to end at 4,848.
Crude oil prices fell around 1 percent.
American benchmark West Texas Intermediate fell to $48.59 a barrel on a 1 percent decline, while international benchmark Brent crude decreased 0.9 percent to $50.07.
The markets will now anticipate the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision Wednesday.
