NEW YORK (AA) - Wall Street rallied Tuesday after President Donald Trump was reported to announce his much-anticipated tax reform proposal Wednesday.
The Dow added 232 points, or 1.2 percent, to finish the day at 20,996, and the Dow added 14 points, or 0.6 percent, to 2,388.
The Nasdaq increased 41 points, or 0.7 percent, to end trading at 6,025.
It was the first time the Nasdaq climbed above 6,000 points in history, reaching as high as 6,036 points.
Trump is expected Wednesday to announce his tax reform that could propose to lower corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 15 percent.
