ISTANBUL (AA) – The President and CEO of Anadolu, Serdar Karagoz, on Friday said Türkiye's global news agency will keep providing accurate news with "complete transparency" to the world.
“Anadolu urgently calls for the safety of all members of the press who have been working under difficult conditions in Gaza since Oct. 7. In the wake of this incident, we emphasize that we will fight resolutely to hold those responsible to account under international law,” Karagoz said in a statement.
"Regardless of the challenges, Anadolu will persist in reporting events to the world with complete transparency."
The remarks came after Israeli forces attacked Anadolu’s photojournalist Mustafa Alkharouf and cameraman Faiz Abu Ramila on Friday in East Jerusalem while on duty.
Karagoz wished a “speedy recovery” to the journalists.
