ISTANBUL (AA) - Callum Robinson and Matheus Pereira scored twice as West Bromwich Albion crushed Chelsea 5-2 in the English Premier League on Saturday.
The thumping defeat at Stamford Bridge ended the Blues’ unbeaten start under manager Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea took the lead through Christian Pulisic in the 27th minute, but were down to 10 men two minutes later as defender Thiago Silva was shown a second yellow card.
Pereira scored twice in first-half stoppage time to send West Brom 2-1 up at the break.
Robinson and Mbaye Diagne stretched their lead to 4-1 before England midfielder Mason Mount pulled one back for the home side.
Robinson netted his second in the dying minutes of the match to cap off a memorable day for the struggling Baggies, who remain second from bottom in the league with 21 points.
Chelsea are in fourth position for now with 51 points, but could slip down the rankings if Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham win their games on Sunday and Monday, respectively.
