ANKARA (AA) - West Bromwich Albion fired manager Slaven Bilic on Wednesday after the club failed to meet expectations in the English Premier League.
"Albion would like to thank Slaven and his coaching staff for their efforts in achieving promotion last season and wishes them all well in the future," the club said on its website.
West Bromwich Albion are now seated at the 19th place with 7 points in 13 matches this season.
Croatian manager Bilic, 52, took charge of the club in this June and helped the club be promoted back to the top-tier division.
Bilic was Besiktas manager in 2013-2015.
