ISTANBUL (AA) - The World Automotive Conference got underway Wednesday, bringing together Turkish and overseas representatives to discuss global trends in vehicles of all kinds.
The conference, for which Anadolu Agency is the global communications partner, around 550 industry representatives from 40 countries will discuss topics such as robotic technology, digitalization and how they could affect the Turkish automotive industry.
More than 50 leading figures from the global sector will speak at the conference, which is held for the fourth time this year.
Electric vehicles, hybrid cars, car-sharing systems and other new developments will be covered in detail.
Round-table sessions and workshops will also be held.
The event will also see the participation of suppliers Ford Otosan, Toyota, BMC, Otokar, Isuzu, Renault, Karsan, Tofas, Honda, Hyundai, Daimler, MAN, Temsa and Hattat.
A special platform was set up for entrepreneurs to promote their projects.
The conference at the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel runs to Thursday.
