ISTANBUL (AA) - Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas beat Mikael Ymer of Sweden in straight sets Saturday to reach the fourth round of the French Open.
Tsitsipas, who is the world's fourth-ranked men's tennis player, defeated Ymer 6-2, 6-2, 6-1 on Court Suzanne Lenglen.
Casper Ruud, Hubert Hurkacz, Holger Rune and Marin Cilic qualified for the next stage after eliminating their opponents.
On the women's side, Paula Badosa and Aryna Sabalenka were knocked out at Roland Garros.
Veronika Kudermetova qualified for the fourth round of the tournament for the first time in her career when Paula Badosa retired from the tournament.
In addition, Irina-Camelia Begu, Qinwen Zheng, Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys and Daria Kasatkina advanced.
