ANKARA (AA) - Wout Poels claimed his first stage win at the Tour de France on Sunday.
Dutch cyclist -- competing for Bahrain Victorious -- won Stage 15 with 4 hours, 40 minutes and 45 seconds time, with 10 seconds bonus time.
Jumbo-Visma's Wout van Aert placed second and Mathieu Burgaudeau of TotalEnergies finished 3rd in the stage, which was between Les Gets Les Portes du Soleil and Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc.
Jumbo-Visma's Jonas Vingegaard leads the general ranking with 62 hours, 34 minutes, 17 seconds and 23 seconds bonus time, while UAE Team Emirates' Tadej Pogacar is just behind him by 10 seconds and Ineos Grenadiers' Rodriguez is trailing with a difference of 5 minutes and 21 seconds.
After Monday's rest, Stage 16 of the tour will be held on Tuesday between Passy and Combloux.
