LUSAKA, Zambia (AA) - A high-ranking delegation of Zambian police officers has left for Turkey to strengthen ties between police in the two countries.
In a statement sent to Zambian journalists, the embassy in Ankara said the two-day visit will see Inspector-General Kakoma Kanganja and six other senior officers meet Turkish colleagues and members of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
Jerry Muntali, first secretary at the Zambian mission, said they would “discuss issues of capacity-building relating to security”.
The visit follows a TIKA training course that eight Zambian police officers attended in August.
