ISTANBUL (AA) - Amid a landmark visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the embattled country, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Friday that Kyiv and New Delhi have reached an agreement on signing four documents.
“Today, we reached an agreement on four documents between Ukraine and India, covering the medical field, agricultural cooperation, humanitarian relations, and culture,” Zelenskyy wrote on X following talks with Modi in Kyiv’s Mariinskyi Palace.
Zelenskyy said that both sides also agreed on a joint statement following their talks, which he said focus on the development of a strategic partnership between Ukraine and India, as well as bilateral trade and continued military-technical cooperation.
Modi arrived in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv earlier today, after which he paid homage at the Martyrologist Exposition in Kyiv.
