RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – The Israeli army on Wednesday injured several Palestinians while raiding areas across the occupied West Bank.
The army raided Tulkarem city, its Nour Shams refugee camp, Qalqilya city, and Nablus city, all in the northern part of the West Bank, according to an Anadolu correspondent.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that clashes and an exchange of fire between the Israeli army and Palestinians took place in Tulkarem city.
Several Palestinians were injured in the clashes, the eyewitnesses added.
An Israeli drone struck a location in the Nour Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem city, while Israeli army bulldozers destroyed some infrastructure in the camp.
The Israeli forces searched dozens of homes, conducted field interrogations, and imposed a curfew in the camp, the eyewitnesses said.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army also stormed areas in Qalqilya and Nablus cities and clashed with Palestinians.
Tensions have been high across the West Bank since fighting broke out in Gaza on Oct. 7 between Palestinian groups and Israel.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, at least 324 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank since Oct. 7, with over 3,400 others injured.
