S&P, Nasdaq post worst week since March as US stocks fall for 4th day
Nasdaq loses 3.6%, S&P 500 sheds 2.9% this week

ISTANBUL (AA) - US stocks closed Friday with losses for the fourth consecutive trading day as the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq recorded their worst week since March.
The Dow Jones was down 106 points, or 0.31%, to close at 33,963. The blue-chip index fell 1.9% this week.
The S&P 500 lost almost 10 points, or 0.23%, to end the session at 4,320 as the index posted a weekly decline of 2.9%.
The Nasdaq, meanwhile, declined 12 points, or 0.09%, to finish the day at 13,211. The tech-heavy index lost 3.6% for the week.
The VIX volatility index, also known as the fear index, trimmed 1.9% to 17.20. The 10-year US Treasury yield declined 1.05% to 4.435%.
The dollar index was up 0.23% to 105.61, while the euro decreased 0.11% to $1.0646 against the greenback.
Precious metals were on the rise, with gold adding 0.3% to $1,925 per ounce and silver increasing 0.6% to $23.55.
Oil prices gained around 0.5% with global benchmark Brent crude at $93.58 per barrel and US benchmark West Texas Intermediate at $90.33.
