LONDON (AA) - Anadolu’s President and CEO Serdar Karagoz presented on Thursday The Evidence, a documentary produced by the Turkish news agency that exposes Israel's war crimes in the Gaza Strip, to lawmakers at the British parliament in London.

The 52-minute documentary covers Israel’s attacks on Gaza since last October in full detail. It consists of photographs and images taken by Anadolu reporters, as well as interviews with experts in the field.

"The evidence we have uncovered consists of images that constitute war crimes under international law. We do not add anything to it, but legal experts evaluate the evidence according to international law. They examine from which angle they constitute war crimes, investigate, and explain them in our documentary. Our aim is to uncover all evidence in the region and to ensure that those who contribute to these international war crimes are judged by international justice," Karagoz said.

"This is a very important situation for us," he added, emphasizing that the UK has an "important role" in exposing war crimes.

- "We record developments in the region"

Referring to the photobook of the same name, which was published earlier, the head of Anadolu said the publication had been sent to lawyers and judges at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, where Israel is being tried for genocide.

"We record developments in the region. We say, that even if everyone forgets, one day these records will shout out the truth. As journalists, we will make every effort for international law and justice to prevail. The activities of Anadolu Agency and TRT in this regard are actually a very important record ... these records will eventually turn into evidence in the eyes of the law, and I am sure that someone will be indicted with that evidence," he added.

- Proud of Anadolu

Türkiye's Ambassador to London Osman Koray Ertas, who also attended the event, congratulated Anadolu for documenting human rights violations committed in Gaza.

"I would like to congratulate all Anadolu employees, all reporters, all colleagues in the field, and the entire organization," he said.

This book and the documentary film will show that international law is valid not only for a certain group, but for all countries, including Israel.

Ertas said a humanitarian tragedy has been unfolding in Gaza for over 200 days, and shared that two separate legal processes are underway against Israel, one at the International Court of Justice, and the other at the International Criminal Court.

While "the world has closed its eyes to human rights violations and the tragedy of Palestine, Anadolu has truly become not only the pride of our country, but also the pride of the whole world and the international rules-based order," he said.
