GENEVA (AA) - Thousands in Geneva marched on Saturday to call for an end to a "genocide" against Palestinians.
Gathered at Parc Des Cropettes Square, the demonstrators marched to the UN Geneva Office.
They were carrying Palestinian flags and a big banner that read: "Stop the genocide in Gaza."
During the march, they chanted slogans in support of Palestine and called for a cease-fire in Gaza.
Some of them were carrying dolls covered in white clothes to symbolize Palestinian infants and children killed in Israeli attacks.
Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip – including hospitals, residences, and houses of worship – since a cross-border attack by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas on Oct. 7.
At least 11,078 Palestinians have been killed, including 4,506 children and 3,027 women. The Israeli death toll, meanwhile, is around 1,200, according to official figures.
