Top US surgeon visits Turkish medical device manufacturer INVAMED

ISTANBUL (AA) - Michael Marin, surgeon-in-chief at Mount Sinai Medical Center and chairman of the Department of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, visited the production campus of Turkish medical device manufacturer INVAMED on Wednesday.
The visit marks a significant step in strengthening health care collaboration between Türkiye and the US and promoting the use of Turkish-produced medical devices in the American market, according to INVAMED.
INVAMED President Rasit Dinc said they were honored to host Marin at the production campus.
“He is a globally recognized figure in the medical device and health care industry, known for his profound knowledge and innovative perspective. The visit of such a respected mentor from Mount Sinai Health System is a testament to the quality of medical devices produced in Türkiye and their significant place in the international market,” he said.
Dinc highlighted INVAMED's commitment to producing innovative solutions in health care technologies.
“This visit not only strengthens the health care collaboration between the two countries but also provides a great opportunity for our medical devices to gain wider acceptance in the American health care sector,” he said.
“The level Türkiye has reached in the medical device industry and its successes in the global market continue to attract the attention of the international health care community.”
Marin described his visit to the INVAMED production campus as an inspiring experience.
