Trump, Putin hold 'positive call' on Ukraine: White House

ISTANBUL (AA) - US President Donald Trump on Monday held "a positive" phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Ukraine, the White House said.

"President Trump has concluded a positive call with President Putin concerning Ukraine," spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said on US social media company X.

No additional details were immediately provided.

The conversation marked the second call between the leaders in two days, following their earlier discussion before Trump's Sunday meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Florida.
