Turkey: 6 suspects arrested in anti-drug operations

KIRKLARELI, Turkey (AA) - A total of six suspects were arrested in anti-drug operations in Turkey, according to security sources on Wednesday.

Anti-narcotic police carried out simultaneous operations in the northwestern Istanbul and Kirklareli provinces to nab the suspects, said the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on talking to the media.

Police also seized a large number of drugs, four guns, 13 bullets and counterfeit money during raids at the suspects’ homes.
