Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul down 0.15% at Friday's close

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,409.56 points on Friday, down 0.15% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,417.45 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index lost 2.19 points from Thursday's close of 1,411.75 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,772.20 by market close, down from $1,797.15 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was up 1% to $84.84 per barrel as of 6:08 p.m. local time (1508GMT).
