Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul down 0.35% at Friday's close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,401.46 points on Friday, down 0.35% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,398.93 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index lost 4.93 points from Thursday's close of 1,406.39 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,756.10 by market close, up from $1,732.55 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was up 0.36% to $78.59 per barrel as of 6:43 p.m. local time (1543GMT).
