Turkey's Borsa Istanbul down 0.37% at close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the day at 114.364,53 points on Tuesday, down 0.37% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 115,626.05 points. As of the daily close, it had lost 424.68 points from Monday's close of 114,789.21 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,648.70 by market close, down from $1,681.60 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $55.20 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Tuesday.
