Turkey's Borsa Istanbul down 0.94% at close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index closed Monday at 98,695.44 points with an decrease of 0.94%.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the week at 98,106.02 points and it dropped by 939.34 points from Friday's close of 99,634.78 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was around $1,404.95 by market close, down from $1,411.00 at the last week's close, according to Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets data.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $64.60 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) Monday.
