Turkey's Borsa Istanbul ends 10 days of winning streak

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index closed at 1,533.05 points on Tuesday, down 0.21% from the previous close.

The index ended its winning streak after posting 10 consecutive days of gains.

Starting the day at 1,538.91 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 3.27 points from Monday's close of 1,536.32 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,788.20 by market close, up from $1,785.55 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was down 0.45% to $84.33 per barrel as of 6.43 p.m. local time (1543GMT).
