Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul flat at Friday's close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,398.00 points on Friday, up 0.08% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,398.04 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index rose 1.08 points from Thursday's close of 1,396.92 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,761.10 by market close, up from $1,759.05 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was up 1.26% to $82.98 per barrel as of 6:33 p.m. local time (1533GMT).
