Turkey's Borsa Istanbul flat at Tuesday's close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the day at 111,073.69 points on Tuesday, down slightly 0.05% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 111,495.02 points. As of the daily close, it lost 51.81 points from Monday's close of 111,125.59 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was around $1,479 by market close, up from $1,477.35 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $65.90 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Tuesday.
