Turkey's Borsa Istanbul goes down at open
BIST 100 decreases 0.13 percent; US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate up at 3.9760

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's stock exchange decreased 0.13 percent, or 151.66 points, to open at 114,290.44 points on Tuesday.
Among all sector indices, the investment trusts sector index posted the best performance, up 1.51 percent, while the electricity index was the worst, down 1.27 percent.
The BIST banking index and the BIST holding index decreased by 0.28 percent and 0.43 percent, respectively.
On Monday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index closed at 114,442.10, down 0.42 percent, with a 3.9 billion-Turkish lira (nearly $1 billion) trade volume.
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange increased to 3.9760 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Tuesday. It was 3.9630 at Monday's close.
The euro/lira exchange rate rose to 4.8970, compared with Monday's close of 4.8830.
The price of Brent oil was $67.92 per barrel as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) Tuesday.
