Turkey's Borsa Istanbul reaches over 100K points

ISTANBUL (AA) - Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index exceeded the 100,000-point level during the first half of Tuesday's trading.

If the index breaks the resistance of 100,000-point level, it can test 101,500 points, according to analysts.

Turkey's benchmark stock index started the day at 99,817.8 points, while it jumped by 3.4% or 3,250.36 points to 99,735.68 points on Monday's close.

The index saw over 100,000-point level for the first time since March, 26.
